Two major masterpieces by American composers: British-born Rebecca Clarke’s stirring Trio is one of her finest compositions, evoking the renewed hope and optimism at the end of the Great War. Roy Harris was one of our most beloved and popular composers, and his powerful Quintet from 1936 deserves a place among the greatest Quintets ever written. You’ll be glad to meet these thrilling pieces!
