Pianist Kimi Kawashima lives in Salt Lake City, and enjoys a career as a performer, teacher, and administrator. She appears with the NOVA and Intermezzo series in Utah, and is frequently featured at the Grand Teton Music Festival. She has curated and performed in acclaimed programs for the Rothko Chapel, the Twombly Gallery, and Zilkha Hall, and has appeared with groups such as Musiqua, Aperio, and the River Oaks Chamber Orchestra. Kimi received the MM and DMA degrees in piano from Rice University, where she won the School’s Concerto Competition. She is on the faculty of Westminster College.
