SUSAN KANG

Flutist Susan Kang earned the Master’s Degree and the Artist Diploma at the Shepherd School of Music, where she studied with Leone Buyse. She joined the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra as a principal flute in 2022, and was previously a principal flute for the Houston Ballet Orchestra and acting principal flute for the Houston Grand Opera Orchestra. She has appeared at the Aspen Music Festival, Bowdoin International Music Festival, Krzyżowa Chamber Music Festival, Tanglewood Music Center, and with the Verbier Festival Orchestra.
