William Sharp won the Young Concert Artists International Auditions, the Carnegie Hall International American Music Competition, the Kathleen Ferrier Memorial Prize, and the Geneva International Competition. His world-premiere recording of Leonard Bernstein’s Arias and Barcarolles won a Grammy Award. He has recorded several dozen CDs, has premiered works by a host of leading composers, and has appeared with many major American symphony orchestras, including those of New York, Chicago, Washington, Boston, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
