Violinist Maureen Nelson made her solo debut with the Philadelphia Orchestra. A founding member of the Grammy-nominated Enso String Quartet, she has led the quartet to victories at the Concert Artists Guild, Banff International, and Fischoff Competitions. She holds degrees from the Curtis Institute, Yale, and Rice University. She was Concertmaster of the Detmolder Kammerorchester (Germany), and has performed at the Evian, Sarasota, La Jolla, Pacific Music, and Schleswig-Holstein Music Festivals.
